Kingfisher Airlines net declines 13% at Rs 418 cr
Vijay Mallya-controlled Kingfisher Airlines has reported a 13.4 per cent drop in its net loss at Rs 418.23 crore during the second quarter ended September 30, 2009 compared to a net loss of Rs 483.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its income from operations declined by 13.6 per cent to Rs 1,142.1 crore during the quarter compared to the same period a year ago.

Anil Ambani’s direct-to-home company, Reliance BIG TV, has formed a marketing alliance with Fox STAR Studios for its forthcoming movie, Avatar. The deal, according to source, has been struck for Rs 20 crore. Avatar is an epic 3D fiction movie which has taken James Cameron almost four years to make. Fox STAR Studios is releasing the movie worldwide.
