CorporateHero Honda sales jump 74% in December
The country"s biggest two-wheeler maker Hero Honda Motors today reported 74.05 per cent jump in its sales in December 2009 at 3,75,838 units as against 2,15,931 units in the same month last year.

In 2009, the company"s sales grew by over 22 per cent at 44,15,298 units, which is its best ever performance in a calender year.
It had sold about 36,00,000 units in 2008, the company said in a statement.
"The calendar year 2009 has indeed been our best-ever performance. We have been consistently raising the bar and setting new records," Hero Honda Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said.
Last year was the first-ever calendar year when the company"s monthly sales crossed the 3-lakh mark in each of the 12 months, the statement added.
